David Plunk enters his 30th year in education/athletics.  He spent 16 years coaching soccer in the collegiate ranks in Texas while teaching in the field of Kinesiology.  He now heads the girls' varsity soccer program and teaches Spanish I at Spring Hill Junior High.   Coach Plunk holds a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and a USSF "C" LIcense.  David grew up in the mission field in Argentina and as such is a huge fan of the Argentina National Soccer team.  When he is not coaching, Plunk likes to play disc golf and pickleball "for fun", but is a competitive badminton player.  David and his wife Sheila have three daughters that all played HS soccer.
